Our long-term promotional partner HeyRunning has just announced its 2014 Spring camp for Beijing residents and it commences on Sunday, 9 March. The 6-week long camp is an excellent opportunity for Grassland Marathon participants to get ready for the challenge on 5 July. And by the way, HeyRunning founder Linus Holmsater won our race last year!
After the winter period, the HeyRunning camp will help runners of all levels to get into rhythm. Starting on 6 March, this initial camp is scheduled for six weeks with four sessions (at least) per week. The camp is based on HeyRunning’s trademark 4S method (Speed, Stride, Stamina & Strength), a simple, fun and effective training approach which has been tried and tested on thousands of runners.
The registrations for the camp start on Thursday, 20 February at 14:00 Beijing time via this link. Be aware: there is a maximum participation limit of 100 and they do reach full capacity.
Plenty of HeyRunners have proved to be successful in the Grassland Marathon and Half Marathon over the past two editions. Not only did Linus Holmsater win last year’s long distance race, camp participant Sebastian Wojciechowski claimed the half distance, and coaches such as Neil Fraser, Stephy Chung and Katie Fischer managed to get on the podium as well.
