The 2017 edition will see the Grassland Marathon run (and half marathon or 10k run) as usual on Saturday morning. Our beloved marathon will stick to its tradition and concept also next year, and remain a race purely for lovers of distance running and the outdoors.
The 3-day MTB stage race is projected to undergo a major facelift, with new stages and new courses. Total distance over the three days should remain around 200 km nonetheless. All details will be revealed in spring time following the technical mission after all the snow has melted in Xiwuqi.
Of course, for the real strong men and women, the King and Queen of the Grasslands competition remains on the event programme as well. Run the full marathon and ride the three mountainbike stages for the absolute honour!
